Christmas

We will both be spending two weeks at our homes for Christmas and New Year's. We're both very excited!!

I went to the UofMN Nav student Christmas party last night and we had a time of "Christmas Worship." It hit me that I usually just sing Christmas songs and don't take the time to think about the words. Last night, we sang the songs as worship songs. I wanted to share one verse of O Holy Night that really made me think about the birth of Christ and its eternal effects. I hope it is a blessing too for you as you reflect on the words.

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining. Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices! O night divine, the night when Christ was born; O night, O Holy Night , O night divine! O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
